Chilson Volunteer Fire Department holds its 41ST annual Valentine’s Dinner Dance this year on Saturday, February 9th at 5:30 P.M. at the E.M.A. at 9 Maplewood Lane in Ticonderoga. For 40 years the dance has been the highlight of the late winter for generations of Chilson and Ticonderoga area friends and neighbors. This year’s event promises to be better than ever.
Dinner will be catered by Chilson’s own Val and Craig Dixon and their Hot Biscuit Diner, and dance music will be curated by well-known local D.J. Mike “Doc” Vilardo. Throughout the evening there will be the familiar mini-raffles of prizes donated by generous local businesses, as well as the traditional cash raffle with $500 and $100 prizes.
Tickets this year are just $16.00. To buy tickets or for more information call (518) 585-6951 or e-mail ChilsonVFD@gmail.com
Proceeds from the dinner dance help Chilson Volunteer Fire Department outfit its firefighters with the safety gear they need to fight interior fires, and to equip its trucks with the lifesaving tools needed to rescue accident and fire victims.
Tickets are in demand and will sell out quickly. Because attendance has to be guaranteed in advance to the caterers, the bulk of tickets must be sold in advance; there will be only a very few tickets available at the door. So don’t miss out – call (518) 585-6951 or e-mail ChilsonVFD@gmail.com
