Contractor Lead-Safe Certification Workshop

OPEN TO ALL ACTIVE CONTRACTORS AND SUPERVISORS:

PRIDE of Ticonderoga is organizing a FREE lead-safe certification workshop. Typically valued at hundreds of dollars, this certification training will help contractors meet the qualification requirements for working on construction projects funded through the NYS Office of Housing and Community Renewal, specifically those built prior to 1978 that contain lead.
Certification by the Environmental Protection Agency is mandatory for any contractor involved in such projects, and the training provided in this eight hour class will certify individuals for a period of five years. The workshop will cover various topics, including lead issue awareness, safe work practices, and techniques for mitigating lead contamination in construction projects.
