Learn how you can better care for and enjoy your parks and public lands. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it!

Leave No Trace: Take Action to Protect the Outdoors (30 minutes) – 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
This workshop will provide you with a better understanding of recreation-related impacts, the Seven Principles and how Leave No Trace skills and ethics can help protect the outdoor places we love.
o Meeting Location: West field behind British fort (Follow signs)
o Limited to 12 participants. Participants must wear masks and maintain social distancing
Tree Identification Walking Tour (45 minutes) – 11 a.m. & 2 p.m.
Join a DEC Forester for a walk through the Crown Point State Historic Site and learn how to identify common trees in the area.
