Description

Lake George Open Water Swim
The event includes 2.5k, 5k and 10k distances. Participants receive a shirt and finisher medal and eligibility for awards. 

 Event Schedule

Pre-Swim Day - Friday

•  4p-6pm - Pre-Race packet pick-up at the beach. (This is optional just for those in town early, but we recommend it to avoid the rush race morning)

Swim Day - Saturday

•  6:45 am - Check-in opens for 10k and 2.5k events; swimmers may warm up/cool down in the designated zone throughout the morning.
• 7:15am - Mandatory pre-race safety meeting for event officials, volunteers and safety crews
• 7:25am - Mandatory pre-race safety meeting (10k and 2.5k swimmers)
• 7:35am - 10k & 2.5k swimmers line up for entry into water and roll call
• 7:45am - 10k start
• 7:55am - 2.5k start
• 8:30am - Check-in opens for the 5k swim; swimmers may warm up/cool down in the designated zone throughout the morning.
• 9:10am - Mandatory pre-race safety meeting (5k swimmers)
• 9:25am - 5k start
• 9:45am - 2.5k Awards ceremony
• 11:00am - All swimmers must be past the start/lap buoy and on their final lap at this time. Those who are not past must exit the water.
• 12pm - Event concludes; All swimmers must be out of the water
• ~12:30pm - 5k & 10k Awards ceremony
