The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) are excited to announce the full schedule of events for HalloweenFest 2025, taking place October 24th through October 31st, 2025. This annual community celebration has expanded once again, offering more activities, entertainment, and family fun than ever before. The HalloweenFest Committee looks forward to welcoming both residents and visitors to enjoy the week-long festivities and continue building on this growing tradition.
Friday, October 24th
4:00 - 10:00 PM: Fireside Folk Festival - Downtown Ticonderoga
A brand new event! Event will include children’s storybook sculptures dedication, live music with Carillion Consort, Lang & I, and The National Parks, food trucks, WEQX, kids activities, and a beer garden.
5:30 PM: Haunted History Tour - Crown Point State Historic Site
Drownings, shadowy figures in the barracks, & sea monster sightings. Hear all about them as you follow a storyteller on a twilight walk through the historic site. Cider & donuts at 5:30 PM. Tour at 5:45 PM. Free event. Rain date October 30th.
7:30 – 8:30 PM: Zombie Trail - Silver Bay YMCA
Event will also take place on October 3rd, 10th, and 17th.
Saturday, October 25th
10:00 AM: Harvest Halloween Festival and Fright Nights at the Farm - Hunter Way Farm
10 AM-3:30 PM: Annual Harvest Halloween Festival, 3 PM: Halloween Costume Contest Parade, 3:30-6:30 PM: Kids Meet & Greet Festival ($7 per child), 6:30 PM: Kids Movie, 7 -11 PM: Scary Trail (also on October 24th), & 11 PM: Horror Movie.
10:00 AM: Halloween Children’s Storytime - Black Watch Memorial Library
Children & families are invited to join for a reading of a Halloween story and stuff your own pumpkin bear to take home.
Free event, limited to 10 children. Pre-registration is required by calling (518) 585-7380.
11:00 AM: Hocus Pocus Magic Show - Ticonderoga Community Building
Children & families are invited to join the Ticonderoga Festival Guild for a fun-filled family Halloween
themed magic show at the Ticonderoga Community Building, LaChute Hall. Free event by the Ticonderoga Festival Guild.
3:00 - 5:00 PM: Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Show - Hague Fish & Game Club
Stop in for a spin around the field for some trunks with tricks & treats! Halloween movie with juice and popcorn for all. Free community event.
6:15 PM: Adirondack Dancing Witches Performance - Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park
Catch the Adirondack Dancing Witches before the Pumpkin Walk for a spirited performance full of
dance, laughter, and festive fun - no tricks, just treats!
6:30 - 8:30 PM: Pumpkin Walk & Campfire - Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park
Jack-O-Lanterns displayed around the park for all to enjoy. Pumpkins from farmers will be carved by local schools & the community. Hot Cider & treats available. Campfire and live music with DJ Dan Whitford. Be sure to join us for the Adirondack Dancing Witches at 6:15 PM. Free event by Natural Foods Co-Op, TACC, & TMSP.
7:00 - 9:00 PM: Haunted House - Silver Bay YMCA
Something spooky is going on inside “Pain”e Hall when the sun goes down. Grab a buddy & come see what all the spookiness is about. Event will also take place on October 4th, 11th and 18th.
Sunday, October 26th
9:30 AM - 5:00 PM: REAL TIME REVOLUTION Living History Event: British Prisoners of War at Ticonderoga
Fort Ticonderoga’s living history event brings to life the experiences of captured British soldiers and their families, sharing their struggles as prisoners of war in 1775. Visitors will explore daily hardships, travel under guard, and the complex social dynamics between soldiers and officers during the early days of the Revolution (also taking place on October 25th).
Monday, October 27th
5:00 - 8:00 PM: Feast for the Fourth Dinner - Burleigh’s Luncheonette (Best 4th in the North Fundraiser)
Turkey dinner with all of the fixings ($20). Kids chicken tenders & fries ($10). Red velvet cake dessert.
No regular menu, dine-in or take-out. Reservations are appreciated online or at 518-585-6262. In addition to the ticket proceeds, tips will benefit the Best 4th in the North. Guest servers TBA.
Tuesday, October 28th
3:30 - 5:30 PM: Pumpkin Decorating - North Country Community College, Ticonderoga Campus
Decorate a pumpkin, grab some refreshments & enjoy Halloween fun. Free event by NCCC & Student Government Association.
*Please note this is an event for ages 13 years or younger.
Wednesday, October 29th
4:30 PM: Chicken BBQ - Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus (Fundraiser for TMSP)
$15 per person includes 1/2 chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll & dessert. Cash Bar, dine-in or take out.
Call the K of C at 518-585-6520 to reserve. To benefit Downtown Ticonderoga events. Live music by Kait MD.
Thursday, October 30th
10:00 – 10:30 AM: Spooktacular Throwback Thursday – Email TACC Today!
Show off your best Halloween costume from years past! Email adminassistant@ticonderogany.com for a chance to win a prize.
Friday, October 31st
3:15 – 5:00 PM: Trick or Treating - Downtown Ticonderoga & Area Businesses
Candy available from participating businesses, organizations, Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, & from TMSP at the Ticonderoga Community Building.
Montcalm Street will be closed from Sunshine Laundry to the Heritage Museum (3:05 PM until 5:15 PM). Enjoy Halloween music and fun in front of the Chamber of Commerce Office. No rain date. Free event by TMSP & TACC.
4:00 – 6:00 PM: Crown Point Trunk or Treating - Veterans Memorial Park
FREE trick or treating for youth of all ages. Community is encouraged to decorate a vehicle to hand out candy.
8:00 PM: Halloween Party - Employees Mutual Association
Dress up in your costume & join the EMA for a spooky night out! Entertainment by DJ Jazzy Jake. 21 and older event.
