The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), in collaboration with a wonderful network of local businesses and community organizations, is delighted to present the 16th Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration! Taking place Saturday, November 29th through Sunday, December 7th, 2025, this cherished community tradition is filled with holiday magic, family fun, and festive events designed to showcase the very best of the Ticonderoga Area. The celebration officially kicks off with Small Business Saturday, encouraging everyone to Think Local while discovering unique gifts, dining, and experiences throughout the area.

Small Business Saturday – Think Local!
Specials & Promotions! Support local businesses and organizations!
See the list of specials and promotions/participating businesses from the Chamber. Look for #ShopSmall HERE signs at participating businesses and organizations. Get and complete your Small Business Saturday Passport for a chance to win an array of prizes from local businesses. DJ Dan Whitford will be playing in front of the TACC Office from 10 AM – 2 PM with a variety of giveaways (local gift certificates and items).

Moriah Tree Lighting & Parade of Lights
Port Henry Village Pocket Park | 6:00 PM
Join the community to kick off the holiday season with the annual Moriah Christmas Tree Lighting. Enjoy festive music, lights, and holiday spirit as the community tree is illuminated for all to see. Following the lighting, the Parade of Lights will begin at 6:30 PM, featuring brightly decorated floats, fire trucks, and community organizations spreading cheer throughout town.

Rockin’ Tree Lighting with DJ Jazzy Jake
Ticonderoga Community Building | 5:30 PM
Join us as we light the community Christmas Tree, listen to holiday music, enjoy a campfire, ride the Christmas Caboose trackless train, and more. All kids in attendance will help count down to the tree lighting. Children will also be able to get their photo with Santa next to the tree. Parents bring your cameras and cellphones to snap a photo.
Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate provided by Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center.
Following the Tree Lighting from 5:30 – 7:30 PM, enjoy the Christmas Caboose trackless train rides around Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park. Sponsored by North Country Rural Development Coalition.

4th of July in December Spaghetti Dinner
Knights of Columbus Ticonderoga | 4:00 PM to Sold Out
$15.00 includes spaghetti dinner, salad, roll, & cookie. Limited supply. Cash bar and 50/50 raffle. Live music by Barkeater Band from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Call the K of C at (518) 585-6520 to reserve your dinner.

Crown Point Community Tree Lighting
Veterans Memorial Park | 4:30 PM
Come enjoy the lighting of the Crown Point Community Christmas Tree. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be available. Live music by Crown Point Central School students.
Ticonderoga High School Holiday Coffee House
K of C Ticonderoga | 7:00 – 9:00 PM
Enjoy live performances by Ticonderoga High School music students at their Holiday Coffee House. A cozy evening of music, warmth, and community spirit! There will be a cash bar and a bar menu available for purchase.

Enjoy live music inside and outside participating Downtown Ticonderoga businesses, performed by the Ticonderoga High School Music Department. Special performances by the Old Town Carolers will add even more holiday cheer to Downtown, sponsored by the North Country Rural Development Coalition. Shop, Dine & Win! Interactive Holiday Light Installation: Join us for Holiday Shopping & Dining Night and experience the grand opening of the NEW Interactive Light Installation at 5:00 PM. Step into the magic under a color-changing canopy of lights in the alleyway between NRDC and Punky Noodle’s. This unique display responds to voices and sounds, creating a fun, family-friendly experience that will delight visitors of all ages. Come celebrate community, creativity, and holiday cheer as Downtown Ticonderoga lights up the season. Additional aspects may be announced.
Live Window Painting: Renowned artist Filomena Jack will return to Downtown Ticonderoga as an artist-in-residence, bringing her signature creativity and community spirit. During the Holiday Shopping & Dining Night, she will complete live holiday-themed window paintings at 106 Montcalm Street. In the days leading to the event, Filomena will also paint other local storefronts, enhancing the Downtown atmosphere.

Parade of Lights

Enjoy the annual Parade of Lights through the Ticonderoga Business District. Watch from a local business or the sidewalk along the route. Official route will be posted. Businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to participate. You must register with the Ticonderoga Fire Department by contacting Mary at 518-586-6912 or mcunningham14@nycap.rr.com. All entries must be family friendly.

Start your morning with a hearty breakfast and plenty of holiday cheer at Burleigh’s Luncheonette! The regular menu will be available, and families can enjoy a festive visit with Santa Claus. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa and have their photo taken by Stagg Photography for $10. Keep your eyes peeled for a special sighting of the Grinch, who just might try to steal a pancake or two!
REAL TIME REVOLUTION®: The Noble Train Begins

On December 5, 1775, Henry Knox arrived at Fort Ticonderoga to begin one of the most daring feats of the American Revolution. Tasked by General George Washington, the 25-year-old led the transport of 59 pieces of artillery, nearly 60 tons in total, over 300 miles from Ticonderoga to Boston. Known as the “Noble Train of Artillery,” this remarkable journey helped secure Washington’s first victory and marked the beginning of America’s path to independence… starting right here in Ticonderoga.

The Noble Train to Lake George

Join Fort Ticonderoga for a remarkable living history event as they recreate the first leg of Henry Knox’s “Noble Train of Artillery.” Beginning at 11:00 AM in the Town of Ticonderoga, follow along as cannons are brought from the fort to the shore of Lake George. Experience history comes to life with the largest number of vehicles assembled since 1775, pulled by oxen and horses, retracing the route that helped shape our nation’s fight for independence. Celebrate the beginning of this extraordinary journey, an achievement that led to the liberation of Boston and inspired the spirit of the American Revolution.

Festival of Trees Open House and Reception

Join the LARCH to celebrate the holidays and enjoy four floors of trees and decorations throughout the historic Hancock House.
