Teaching Assistant

Minimum Starting Salary: $29,750

Location: Special Education, Plattsburgh and Mineville Campuses

Anticipated Start Date: September 3, 2024

Position Information: Full time/10-month per year position, follows school calendar

Paid Time off:  School holidays off, snow days off, 15 sick days, 4 personal leave days,

and 3 bereavement days per occurrence

Retirement System: New York State Teacher’s Retirement System (NYSTRS)

Health Insurance: 7% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 93% of premium.
(subject to increase following contract renewal for 2024-2025 School Year)

• CEWW health insurance consortium is the same as 15 local school districts.
